Buffalo, New York The city of good neighbors

Buffalo is a city with a population of around 260K people and is the second-largest city in Western New York. A major gateway, Buffalo is part of the binationalBuffaloo Niagara Region. First inhabited in the 17th century by the Native American Iroquois the city grew significantly in the 19th and 20th centuries due to immigration and development as a transportation hub. With the deindustrialization in the latter half of the 20th century, the Buffalo economy has transitioned to service industries with greater emphasis on healthcare, research, and higher education.
